Documentary Style Wedding Photographer in DC

Imagine it is your 30th anniversary, what will you remember most about your wedding day?

Will it be the way you and your new spouse looked at each other at first glance? Or perhaps beloved grandparents dancing together to a slow song? Maybe your Dad’s face as he walked you down the aisle? Could it be your friends having the time of their lives while celebrating your special day?

Going through old family albums, I find that I most enjoy the natural expressions of loved ones, looking at family members when they were younger, reminiscing about those who are no longer with us, and listening to the stories behind the pictures. In a time where everyone is focused on curated perfection to post on social media, I instead strive to provide clients a wedding day to remember with loved ones. I find that couples greatly appreciate receiving authentic, lasting, and intimate imagery that stands the test of time.

As a wedding photographer in DC, seeing genuine couples promise themselves to one another is an absolutely charming experience.
